What is Planting Seeds?
Well, first things first.. my name is Erica. It has always been important to me to make a positive impact in not only people's lives, but in the world around me. Planting Seeds allows me (and YOU) to do just this. My mission is simple, to spread the word of growth and positivity! By planting one seed at a time, I've created an opportunity for women to grow and feel more confident with themselves through fitness, nutrition and positive thinking. I am excited for you to join this community of EMPOWERED and MOTIVATED women! But, in case you're still wondering a bit more about me, and how this started...
I am from a small town in upstate New York, and I moved to California about 3 and a half years ago. I have always dreamed big and hold high expectations for myself! I have always loved nutrition and the human body, I hold a bachelors degree in human biology, and am currently in nursing school! Having this platform to use for all of you ladies, allows me to still do my online training while I finish my studies!
Surprisingly enough, something that I didn't always love, was working out! I was not an athlete in school, and I really never went to the gym except for the occasional day I would go do some running on the elliptical and a few crunches. It wasn't until I moved to California that my love for fitness started, I met my current boyfriend and he sparked my love for fitness. He began teaching me the ways of the gym and it wasn't long before I went off on my own and started really dedicating my time to figuring it all out! Everyone started seeing my results and asking if I could train them! Here I am 3 years later and have helped so many girls achieve their dreams. I'll continue letting you know more about myself and my fitness and nutrition hacks in my blog posts to come!
My programs and plans are flexible, so you can choose whether you want to work out at home or in the gym! Through my programs you will learn how to train to increase your fitness and strength through regular workouts. My programs also progress in difficulty so you will always be challenged! The plans use the exercises that I perform to achieve my own personal results! Everyone starts somewhere, whether you are trying to start working out at home because your a new mother and don't have the time, or you are just not comfortable enough in the gym, the at home program is for you! If you want to try the gym program it is suitable for someone completely new or if you are trying to step it up a notch from your current routine! There is something for everyone on this site, and there is DEFINITELY more to come very soon! :)
I also give 24/7 access to my email, because I believe progress is all in having a support system and girls who are there to help you along your journey! Planting Seeds is a way for us all to come together and have a community of women who are positive and encourage each other to grow!
